Europe’s first Crystal lagoon at Casares, Spain is starting soon and will include man-made Caribbean-style beaches, watersports facilities and 350 new homes. 100 key ready apartments are now on offer at launch prices from EUR 139,000 for a 2-bed lagoon view location to EUR 324,000 for top of the range penthouses.
The first phase, Alcazaba Hills Lagoon Casares has a good selection of spacious brand-new, key ready homes with a choice of orientation and level. They offer 112 m2 of living space and large terraces and come with Siemens fitted kitchens. Views included swimming pools, tropical gardens and the Casares Lagoon. The furnished show apartment is now open and property viewings have to be booked.
Moorish Casares, one of Spain’s famous hillside “Pueblos Blancos”, is already a top tourist attraction in the Costa del Sol because of its winding, stepped streets and picturesque white painted houses. Activity holidays currently include horseback riding, hiking, rock climbing, pot-holing, cycling and nature rambling. When the 14,000 m2 (1.5 football pitches) crystalline lagoon is completed there will be swimming, kayaking, windsurfing, paddle surfing, canoeing and other watersports.
More than 100 metres of private beaches will be created for the international buyers of the apartments that sit in gated tropical gardens with waterfall swimming pools and sunbathing terraces. The $121M development, which covers 30,000 m2 (74 acres) of countryside, is focused on the turquoise-coloured lagoon enclosed by Caribbean-style beaches and tropical planting.
Fly to Buy at Alcazaba Lagoons with show apartment and tour
International property brokers, Walker Property Spain, have included Alcazaba Hills Lagoon in its renowned Fly to Buy service with personal one-to-one tours of the development, Casares and surrounding Costa del Sol area – plus assistance with plans, mortgage, after-sales and rentals.
Popular seaside resorts like Estepona, Marbella and Puerto Banús with Mediterranean beaches, bars, restaurants and nightlife are 15 minutes away. International airports Malaga, Gibraltar and Jerez serve the western sector of the Costa del Sol.
Property professionals have already dubbed Alcazaba Hills Lagoon “the most exciting project on the Spanish Costas”. It is the first European installation of a patented water technology developed by Crystal Lagoons that keeps the water clean, safe and constantly monitored – ideal for younger users. There are 300 installations in 60 countries.
“Alcazaba Hills Lagoons is a testament to Crystal Lagoons’ innovative concept and technology, that can successfully revitalize stagnant projects that were previously on hold due to lack of sales,” said Sebastian Pillado, Crystal Lagoons’ Regional Director for Europe.
