Currently, there are 20 Golf Hills Village apartments available on a first come, first served basis with mortgage options of 70% for international buyers or 80% for Spanish residents. All homes on offer are brand-new and key ready with long construction guarantees. Another phase to be released in 2016, but prices will be higher.
The development of Golf Hills Village was funded by Spanish bank, Caja Castillo la Mancha who took control during the recessional years following developer financing defaults. London-based CTH Capital outbid international rivals in a sealed bid auction, even though “this attractive asset for investors” remained uncompleted at the time. It is now 95% complete, with pools and other amenities in full operation.
Irene Valbuena, auction director at BNP Paribas Real estate said: “Operations like this highlight the growing interest in the Spanish real estate sector to foreign investors. In this regard the Costa del Sol has a clear advantage as a tourist destination with quality infrastructure.”
